Elder Pharma records 28% growth in 2009 and emerges as fastest growing Pharma Company in India amongst top 50 companies.


Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 29, 2010 (PRESSbooth.ORG) -- With a 28% growth recorded in the year 2009, Mumbai based Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd. emerged as the fastest growing pharma company in the country amongst the top 50 companies. Shelcal, the well-known brand from the company, registered a growth of 22%, alongwith Chymoral Forte (growth of 30%) and Formic-O (growth of 100%), the other two leading brands of the company, according to data released by ORG-IMS for the year ending December 2009. Elder Pharma is a leader in the Women Health Care segment with dedicated divisions catering to Women Health Care, Pain management/ wound care, and Nutraceutical therapeutic segments. The Company also has around 30 in-licensing agreements; one of the highest in the domestic market.
