The antenna multiplexers, model 733001, enable multiple antennae at multiple read points to be integrated and read by a single RFID reader. This allows minimizing the number of readers deployed when multiple read-points are required and saving on infrastructure investment for the user. Each multiplexer is controlled by either a host processor or a reader module that allows any of the four or eight antennas to be addressed explicitly using three GPIO pins.
