A documentary TV series that follows the daily lives of people who work on Wall Street has unexpectedly become a spyglass into the world of finance just as the credit crisis unfolds.
Corte Madera, CA, USA, October 29, 2008 (PRESSbooth.ORG) -- The producers of Wall Street Warriors, Sean Skelton and Scott Gill, have found themselves capturing the emotional turmoil of their seven principal characters - from hedge fund managers and floor traders, to private equity fund managers and stock brokers - brought on by the credit collapse and bank failures that took place soon after they began filming the third season in April of this year.
The financial industry's downward spiral began half-way through the second season of Warriors, which currently aires on MOJO HD. The market suddenly turned volatile, creating agonizing situations for the show's characters, and the drama has only intensified this season with the jaw-dropping bank failures.
"We're filming history," said Sean Skelton, co-creator and producer of Wall Street Warriors. "It's been exciting, but also difficult to watch these people, who we've been following for sometime now, become unraveled."
MOJO HD recently announced it is ceasing operations in December of this year, so Warriors is currently looking for a new network to air what is turning out to be a monumental season for the show.
