The Gen 2 laundry tag is made of sealed PPS and epoxy materials which allow the tag to survive harsh treatment including sterilization. Non-line-of-sight data transmission allows the laundry tags to be identified without the need of visual contact. Additionally, the tag provides a flexible read/write range from 0.5 to 1.5m.
