Featuring fast cars and diamond rings, proceeds to benefit 37,000 homeless in Orange County
Huntington Beach, CA, USA, November 11, 2009 (PRESSbooth.ORG) -- Simone and Son, Orange County’s premier fine jeweler, announced today its 2009 Gala Event, on Sunday, November 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Simone & Son atelier in Huntington Beach. The event featuring the newest models of luxury cars from Bentley, Audi and Porsche, along with silent auction and prize drawings for luxury items, including a vintage-style platinum and diamond ring donated by Simone & Son.
“Homelessness affects 37,000 people in Orange County, many of whom are women and children,” said Shant Dakessian, co-owner, Simone & Son. “This year, we are fortunate to mobilize our community, with the help of fellow sponsors, to help women and children in need. Our goal is to provide much needed support for those in transient stages, so they can help themselves overcome dire situations.”
The mission of Colette’s Children’s Home is to provide homeless single women and homeless mothers a safe home and nurturing environment where they obtain compassionate support and services needed to achieve self-sufficiency. Through its key services — removing issues causing displacement into homelessness, building character to support sound decision-making, life skills training and transition to permanent housing — Colette’s Children’s Home assists those in need, with dignity and respect.
The Simone & Son Gala is reflective of the philanthropic nature of the Orange County community. The evening’s festivities will include a showcasing of the latest luxury automotive designs from Bentley, Audi and Porsche. Gentlemen will be treated to cigars and special offers by Newport Auto Center, while ladies will be pampered by Dr. Naira skin care specialists and Emani mineral make up specialists.
Guests will have the opportunity to shop at the silent auction, and to enter prize drawings for gifts from featured sponsors: Emani Minerals, Felt Bicycles, Kaenon Polarized, Jan Garcia Photography, Rod Allen, Sagrada by Shant Dakessian and others.
