Major forces join to create the hottest motorcycle program for 2010 - Throttle Junkies.
Palm Beach, FL, USA, February 12, 2010 (PRESSbooth.ORG) -- Vinnie DiMartino and Cody Connelly from V Force Customs have joined forces with motorcycle greats Joe and Chase Capicotti of 2Xtreem and Will Kenefick and Jeff Lindaman of Retro Superbike. Together they have created Throttle Junkies, an exciting new program guaranteed to breathe life back into motorcycle television. Late Show legend David Letterman, in a recent reference regarding current motorcycle television programming, said “I remember when Vinnie (formerly of American Chopper) would spend a half an hour on the flow jet machine making a mirror………that’s what I want”. Well Dave, we’ve got great news:
Premiering on February 14, 2010 Throttle Junkies is bringing Vinnie back to TV. Combined with preeminent talents of motorcycle industry leaders from New York, South Florida and Los Angeles, Vinnie and the Throttle Junkies team will feature incredible collaborative bike builds as well as showcasing their individual talents. The show will take fans to the core of motocross, sport/performance bikes, cruisers and everything in between. Throttle Junkies is sure to have something for every level of motorcycle interest. In addition to Vinnie and sidekick Cody, viewers will recognize Joe and Chase Capicotti fresh from 5 years of 2Xtreem TV. New to television is Will Kenefick of Retro Superbikes in L.A. who, along with Jeff Lindaman, have become the “motorcycle go- to guys” for Hollywood film studios and the celebrity set.
With half the season already produced Throttle Junkies will guarantee an awesome ride. The team’s first custom collaborative bike build was inspired by Juan Pablo Montoya’s #42 Target Chevrolet NASCAR. The custom bike was presented to Formula One and NASCAR legend Juan Pablo Montoya’s Formula Smiles Foundation. The bike is on promotional tour at the Homestead Motor Speedway that will be followed by appearances in Los Angeles, New York and the 2010 Daytona Bike Week. The bike will then be auctioned off in April to benefit the Formula Smiles Foundation.
During the premier season of Throttle Junkies expect to get one-on-one with the crew and celebrity guests from Sports Greats, Formula One, NASCAR, X-Games, Motocross, Film, Television and more. Throttle Junkies will deliver real motorcycle entertainment.
