UK Label Chocolate Fireguard announces debut US tour for KAVA KAVA including dates in Los Angeles, Phoenix, SXSW in Texas and New York
March 11, 2010 (PRESSbooth.ORG) -- Kava Kava are a turbo charged funked up live rock/dance act from Huddersfield (Yorkshire) in the UK featuring the soulful vocals of singer Pat Fulgoni alongside guitars, electronica, horns and beats. Kava Kava’s music has been featured in popular US TV series such as 'Dirt', 'John From Cincinnati', 'Weeds' etc, films including 'Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down', new snowboarding game 'Stoked', best selling application 'Tap Tap Revenge 3' for iphone and they have played clubs and festivals all over Europe, in the States and in China. Over the last three years they have played events as prestigious as Cork Jazz Festival (Ireland), Beijing Midi Festival (China), Glastonbury Festival (England) and SXSW Festival, Texas.

Singer Pat Fulgoni also does his bit to promote music from the Yorkshire region of the UK. Following last year's successful debut "Yorkshire SXSW Party"(Wild Beasts, Sky Larkin, Paul Marshall, Talk To Angels and Rolo Tomassi) the popular Showcase is back at the British Music Embassy for 18th March - midday @ Latitude 30, 512 San Jacinto, Austin, Texas. Chocolate Fireguard will soon release the digital single "Clarity" in Europe with remixes by drum n bass maestro "B Complex" an artist who has enjoyed big success for his "Beautiful Lies" release on Hospital Records, a label Kava Kava's soulful singer Pat has also collaborated with on numerous occasions for producers Logistics, London Elektricity, Nu:Tone and most recently for Camo & Krooked's anthem "Turn Up (The Music)" The forthcoming "Clarity" single also features remixes by Lex Loofah (of Warp Records fame) and Two Macs and a Projector
