This handheld Gigabit Ethernet tester, model 5850, has dual RJ45 ports supporting 10/100/1000 Base-T and dual SFP ports supporting 1000Base-SX/LX/ZX.It includes a jacket cover, tie-in protection and lanyard and stand for hands free viewing.The tester identifies cable faults such as short and open circuits and also determines cable length.It also conducts connectivity tests including Ping, Trace and ARP Scan.The multifunctional tester features 128 bits full line rate traffic transmission of 10/100/1000Mbps. It provides LED status indicators for Power, Port1 link/active, Port2 link/active and faults. Test results are shown on a colorful LCD screen in text or graphic format. In addition, it runs under Windows 2000 and XP operating systems.
