Best-selling author, successful entrepreneur and leadership expert to speak at Cincinnati event
Cincinnati, OH, USA, May 18, 2010 (PRESSbooth.ORG) -- The Cincinnati Chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) will host a professional development event with keynote speaker Charles P. Garcia. The event will take place Wednesday, June 9th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Xavier University Cintas Center and is being offered free of charge to NSHMBA members and the general public. Priority seating will be given to NSHMBA members and registered attendees.
Named by Hispanic Magazine as one of the “100 most influential Hispanics in the United States”, Garcia will speak on his experiences as a successful entrepreneur who started his investment firm out of a broom closet where it became, in 2002, one of the fastest growing privately held companies and the fastest growing privately held company in the United States with 60 offices in 7 countries.
Garcia is a graduate of the United States Air Force, a highly decorated military officer, a former White House Fellow, and a Columbia Law School Graduate. He has worked for four U.S. Presidents, a Cabinet Secretary, and a four-star general. In addition to these accomplishments, he is a best-selling author and was ranked #1 business book on amazon.com and #6 on the Wall Street Journal bestseller list. His most recent book, “Leadership Lessons of the White House Fellows” (McGraw-Hill), compiles leadership lessons from interviews of over 200 White House Fellows.
