Handful of Luvin’ began in Bellingham, WA, in 2002, when college students Andrew Joslyn and David John connected while studying. Moving to Seattle in 2005, David John (vocals and guitar) and Andrew Joslyn (violin/viola) completed the lineup with bass guitarist Patrick Files, and drummer Michael Knight.

The group members are as diverse as their music, playing in different bands in the Seattle area to keep their instruments and experiences sharp.
