The colour palette is one of warm tones with fuschia and teal bringing some bright facets to the clothes. There are two main prints introduced with this collection. The elegant extravagant multicolured exotic ‘Virginia Bubble’ which will lend much needed colour to grey autumn days as well as not looking out of place in a typical Indian Summer. The other design is more earthy and traditional, inspired by botanical illustration it is memory of summers past and evokes timeless style onto the many different pieces it is seen on.
The patterns are backed up with a range of jersey seperates which allow the customer to mix and match and to layer clothes according to the ever changeable British weather.
The real excitement of this collection is the addition of a boiled wool range. This completes the collection with a range of jackets and a fantastic unstructured boiled wool coat. Boiled wool is another descriptive term for felted cloth, the yarn is first dyed, then knitted and finally shrunk without the use of chemicals. The result is a functional material which can be made to different thicknesses and is a amazingly waterproof. Many people think of woollen clothing as scratchy but boiled wool is one of the softest most durable fabrics on the market.
The collection also sees an amazing array of jewellery that will add a personal touch to any outfit. The glass rings on sale are particularly delightful and bring a touch of contemporary style to an old classic.
