Technozion attracts about 3000 participants annually from about 200 colleges from all over India . It is a true integration of would-be engineers from every corner of the nation. With exciting events, exhibitions and workshops in store, this time too, TECHNOZION promises a rendezvous with the best of engineering and science.
The event features a range of challenges and competition from robotics to miniature RC car racing to glider making. It will also include all-night coding, Junkyard Wars, hacking, Contraptions, quizzes, circuit designing, fox hunt, modeling contests, among many others. The paper presentation competition invites entries in all walks of engineering, and puts a platform for all aspiring engineers to bring their revolutionary and path-breaking ideas to the forefront. On 16th October 2008, Prof Tony Leggett: Nobel Prize winner 2003(Physics) for his contribution to Superconductivity has consented to be part of TECHNOZION this year through a video conferencing lecture. Time: 9:30 pm.
Dilip Chhabaria The man who can even make cars drool will address and interact with students on October 18 sharing his insights behind DC Designs. Time: 2:00 pm, Date: 18th October 2008.
The CEO and MD of Infosys S Gopalakrishnan will address the students on 19th October at 4.00 pm.
DRDL: The premier military R&D organization of our country would be putting up an exhibition at TECHNOZION to display India 's latest military technology. Time: 8:00am-6:00pm, Date: 17th– 19th October 2008
Indian Aero modeling Club, Virar : The premier Aero modeling club of India would be hosting a workshop and an aero show showcasing their RC creations performing daredevil stunts. Time: 4:30 pm, Date: 18th October 2008
