The Towing and Recovery Association of America, in conjunction with its ongoing effort to improve the image of towers and the towing industry to the general public

Washington, DC, USA, October 19, 2011 (PRESSbooth.ORG) -- The Towing and Recovery Association of America, in conjunction with its ongoing effort to improve the image of towers and the towing industry to the general public, would like to acknowledge the efforts of Statewide Towing Association in having recently raised $8,670 for Baystate Children’s Hospital.

On July 26, 2011 the Statewide Towing Association held its 2nd Annual Golf Outing at Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton, MA, with sponsorships to help benefit the Baystate Children’s Hospital. The event was a tremendous success, raising $8670.00 for the charity.

Over 130 golfers and 40 sponsors supported the association event. All in attendance enjoyed a warm sunny day of golf while raising much-needed funds for the hospital. Next year’s event is scheduled for August 14, 2012.

Committee members attended an official check presentation on August 31, 2011 at Baystate Children’s Hospital- D’Amour Center for Cancer Care located at 3350 Main Street, Springfield, MA. The presentation was followed by a tour of the facility so see the many improvements that were made possible by the Statewide Towing Association’s donation in 2011.
