Woburn, MA, USA, October 1, 2009 (PRESSbooth.ORG) -- Daimer Industries, Inc.®, a major supplier and worldwide exporter of green cleaning products, green cleaners and commercial cleaning equipment, announced Eco-Green® Windshield Wash Summer Formula Super Concentrate, the industry's first all-natural, 100% plant-based windshield washer fluid. The formulation is available in concentrations up to 1500:1 for blenders, distributors, vehicle fleets, trucking, bus companies, the military, auto repair and parts stores, and others serving the transportation industry.
The biodegradable chemical is part of a new line of green windshield washes that includes concentrated and ready-to-use formulations for winter, summer, and a ready-to-use product for year round. Daimer® is offering the products to customers worldwide.
Windshield Washer Technology
The new Eco-Green® windshield washer fluid formulations for the transportation industry includes green chemicals that are derived from plants and vegetables without any solvents, ozone-depleting substances, synthetics or harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). In addition, Eco-Green® products are readily biodegradable. The green chemicals biodegrade by more than 90% within 28 days, or about 50% faster than most competitors, according to testing performed by an internationally known laboratory. The products are also safe to use and clean with a high level of safety as evidenced by all zero values on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) hazard diamond.
Eco-Green® green chemicals employ a unique Micro-Blasting® technology, which uses nano-based particles, 1/80,000 the thickness of human hair, to penetrate unwanted substances and pierce the carbon bonds holding dirt and grease molecules together. Eco-Green® windshield washer fluids will not damage vehicle paint, car wax, rubber or plastics.
The Products
Windshield Wash Summer Formula Super Concentrate removes insect stains, bird splatters, tar, sap, road gunk and other substances from vehicle windshields. The super-concentrated green chemicals can be diluted at a ratio of up to 1500:1. It does not require special blending equipment, mixes easily with water, and can be easily prepared by anyone. It is ideal for large fleets (military, car dealerships, other companies managing or maintaining numerous vehicles) that want to save money by mixing the concentrate with water and reduce costs associated with shipping multiple cases of product, packaging and disposing of empty bottles.
Daimer® also offers a concentrated formula for winter called Windshield Wash Winter Formula Super Concentrate. The solution melts snow and light ice on windshield surfaces, prevents refreezing and inhibits the buildup of dirt and road salt. It has freezing points from –15ºF to –25ºF, is designed for blenders and resellers, and can be diluted at a ratio 600:1 – 800:1. The green chemical does not require special blending equipment, and can be easily prepared by anyone.
For those seeking ready-to-use versions of these green chemicals, Daimer® offers Windshield Wash Summer Formula RTU and Windshield Wash Winter Formula RTU. Both are packaged in gallons and larger sizes for sale to consumers.
Windshield Wash All Season Formula RTU is a ready-to-use formula that combines the benefits of the summer and winter formulas – it is formulated to remove dirt, bug and tar spots from your windshield and has a freezing point of –25ºF. It comes packaged in containers of gallons and larger for sale to consumers. Minimum quantities may apply for all formulas.
