Award-winning filmmaker and movie producer Jesse J. Jackson, head of Camden-based Jersey Styles Films, will showcase his latest award-winning film – “ The Cage – A Journey through the Mind” – during an exclusive premier showing at the Susquehanna Bank Center (formerly named the Tweeter Center) in Camden, New Jersey on August 24 at 6 PM.
Camden, NJ, USA, August 15, 2008 (PRESSbooth.ORG) -- The Cage is a thrilling and dramatic depiction of a trip through the lives and minds of Psychotic personalities that will leave you thinking that, for some, “Madness” is just a step away.
Actress Lauren Jane Krystofolski, who portrayed the character Marilyn Cage in The Cage, won the Best Actress Award in a short film at the 2008 Downbeach Film Festival. Michael J. Panichelli, who portrayed Dr. Zinkowski in the same movie, was nominated in the Best Actor Award category at the Film Festival.
While The Cage has won critical acclaim for Jersey Style Films, Jackson is very confident that another project, “House of Malik”, a full length motion picture featuring famed actors Richard Roundtree (Shaft, Seven, Roots), and Clifton Powell (Ray, Dead Presidents, Next Friday) will be a hit once major investment funding is obtained by the independent film company. The movie will be filmed at locations in Camden, New Jersey and Tokyo, Japan.

We are equally confident that once properly funded, “House of Malik” will be a compelling movie that fans will thoroughly enjoy watching,” Jackson said. “Currently, we are seeking financing to complete “House of Malik” and we are hopeful that potential investors will attend our premier, observe the quality of our work and choose to participate by investing in our next film project.”
Powell, who is also a partner with Jersey Style Films, will be in attendance at the Tweeter Center film premier and be available to speak with potential investors.

With the theatrical runs and the revenues generated through DVD sales, investors can expect to double their money when a movie like the House of Malik combines a top notch promotional plan with a lineup of actors that are appealing to the public.” Powell said.
