Colour Maths opened their vibrant Pitara of animated Colours, in their Annual Exhibition - Humara Pitara on 29th and 30th of Sept 2008, held at the AIFACS Art gallery. Creativity needs no boundaries and hence the theme, We are different suggest the same.
New Delhi, Delhi, India, October 3, 2008 (PRESSbooth.ORG) -- The Exhibition was inaugurated by the eminent contemporary painter Mr. Sanjay Bhatacharya. In his point of view, it is one the most innovative ride he has ever been to. He even intended to buy a painting of a child (Naomi Sengupta), which he thought was almost his portrait.
Colour Maths has a reputation of innovating creativity from any a thought, object or motive that may come across the little minds. Therefore, the exhibition – Humara Pitara was an effort to showcase their masterpieces under one roof, celebrating their heart, soul and sweat with colours.
Little toddlers under the guidance of their mentor Rinchen Ghosh and Ankita Arya, displayed their favorite paintings. As the theme suggest, we are different, the exhibition was different, as the children stuck to the idea and painted the world from their perspective.
Each wall was telling a different story, starting with my favorite, the one displaying a Hippie Car; it was followed by two tramps carrying the pictures of all the toddlers and their colourful moods. The chariot depicts a subtle child art form of Indian Road Graphic, and has been a big point of attraction for visitors. The other, was filled with the pirated ideas of the world through the eyes of a 4yrs old. The idea was to exploit the true colours and change their meanings. Masks came out to be the most creative display of talent. They were bold, vibrant and demonstrated various moods and cultures around. As we know the issue of global warming has been the hottest nowadays, so the toddlers made a point to show how hot can it get. Their creative awareness posters were extremely meaningful and catchy. I bet any advertising agency would hire them to design their ideas.
The mentors Rinchen Ghosh (Founder) and Ankita Arya(Overseer), have brought out the best from the children and I’m sure have made them and the parents proud.
